- Holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Geography and Resource Development with Political Science, a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree, all from the University of Ghana, Legon.
- He was called to the Bar in 2012.
- In 2013, he was inducted onto the Bench as a Magistrate and rose to the position of a Circuit Court Judge where he retired in 2023.
- As a result of his experience and dedication on the Bench, Mr. Ampadu acquired in-depth knowledge of the law in areas such as Family law, Land law, Maritime law, Property law, Mining and Minerals law and Contract law.
- Mr. Ampadu, ever since his retirement, has applied his knowledge in law with mastery and diligence in his practise.
